Sourcing the freshest salmon is just the beginning. At Premier Fish, we've perfected the art of traditional smoking at our very own Premier Smokehouse. We take pride in a handcrafted process that transforms the finest quality fish into exceptional smoked products.



Premier Smokehouse Smoked Salmon
We use only superior-grade salmon, which is expertly filleted by hand and then cured with a balanced blend of natural rock salt and a touch of demerara sugar. The salmon is then slowly cold-smoked over sustainably sourced oak chips, a time-honoured method that infuses the fish with a beautifully clean, classic smoky flavour without overpowering its natural taste.

The result is a versatile and elegant product, perfect for a wide range of dishes. From a simple starter to an intricate main course, Premier Smokehouse smoked salmon is designed to elevate your menu and delight your customers.

For a richer flavour and different texture, our Hot Smoked Salmon is a game-changer. For this product we smoke our salmon at a higher temperature, giving it a firmer, flakier texture and a deep, intense smoky profile. It's a wonderfully versatile product that works beautifully in hot dishes like pasta, risottos, and fish pies, or simply flaked into a salad or on a canapé.
Premier Smokehouse Smoked Trout
Our Smoked Trout fillets are available in both hot and cold-smoked varieties, offering two distinct textures and flavour profiles.

Our cold-smoked trout has a delicate, silky texture, similar to our smoked salmon. It's a premium product with a refined smokiness, perfect for elegant platters or light starters.

Our hot-smoked trout is richer and flakier, with a firmer texture that makes it ideal for flaking into salads, stirring through pasta, or using as a base for a pâté.


Premier Smokehouse Smoked Mackeral
A true British classic. Our Smoked Mackerel is hot smoked to create a product with a rich, robust flavour and firm, flaky flesh. A powerhouse of flavour and value, it’s perfect for creating rustic salads, rich pâtés, or adding a bold, smoky dimension to classic dishes like kedgeree. If you like your Smoked Mackerel with a twist, we also produce a peppered option.
